I have been dragging and dropping 2gb mp4 files from my windows vista laptop to my GN for the past few weeks and have had to wait around 50 minutes per 2gb file. But then the other day I did the exact same steps as I normally do and it only took 6 minutes...
Then this morning I went to transfer another 2gb mp4 file, and as I dragged the file over to the GN movie folder the system calculated it would take 60 minutes until the action was completed. I hit cancel, unplugged my GN from the USB cable, powered off, and pulled the battery. Once the phone rebooted, I proceeded to drag the same mp4 file into the same movie file (same USB port too) on my GN and BAM, it took 5 minutes!!
I must have just done a battery pull the other day and didn't put the two together until this happened this morning. What would be causing this? Does anyone know of a workaround besides a battery pull? And, more importantly, has anyone else noticed this?
Thank you.
