Appbrain app issues

Anyone still using appbrain?

For some reason, I can hit the search button and search for apps, but while typing, I do not see the area where your text would show.
It's as if the search bar is invisible on screen.

Anybody with this issue?

I have had this even before rooting the nexus.

What's AppBrain do?

It keeps a record copy of installed apps, apps you may want to install, which device they are on, etc.

It was ahead of the android market which now remembers what apps are bought.

Appbrain remembers it all and allows you to integrate social networking so your friends can see what apps you are running, etc.

Cool so if my GNex was wiped I could easily install all the current apps installed on my phone?

That's one of the reasons I was worried to flash. I did it with my tablet but I didn't utilize too many diff apps on there an barely used. When I did I don't remember seeing this option.

The Market should really have that feature. Seems so necessary.
