So I got a Galaxy Nexus unlocked bootloader and rooted running the superboot option. I do NOT have the phone activated yet or any e-mail accounts setup on it, I was playing around trying to enable face unlock and I have no option for it. Could it be that I need to have an e-mail added to the phone and activated? I have None, Slide, Pattern, PIN, and password but no face unlock. Help please any advice is appreciated.

Hmmm that is super interesting. reboots dont fix it either huh? I would try flashing a stock ROM that can be found and XDA

Unfortunately not, I have rebooted dozens of times with no success. I will flash a stock ROM and see only other thing I could think of is that its not activated but I didn't think it would matter, as well as no e-mail accounts setup. I'll report back once I have done the stock rom.

Not sure if any of you have tried this but I have. Once you have the face unlock working take a pic of your face. Put that pic on your monitor and you can unlock your phone with it. Not very secure if you ask me. This is a gimmick that is not good for security.

Ok so happy to report that after flashing a stock image (Thanks One Click Tool) and re-rooting I now have it. Was weird. Only thing I don't like about that tool is that it flashes clockwork mod would like to have kept stock bootloader but oh well! Thanks for the help earlier all.

It depends on how you look at the situation. If I lose my phone on the subway or if someone picks it up and steals it from my desk, where are they going to find my picture? This is precisely the type of security that I want facelock for.
