Re: how do i delete the frequent called list??
You are aware that it states in the notes for "History Eraser" that Google has blocked the ability to write to this area in ICS and thus it CANNOT clear the Frequently Called list, right?
If not, well now you know.
I'm also looking for a way to clear this list. Frankly I'd rather it simply NOT STORE this data. I can figure out who to call on my own without help from the OS.
(And no, I don't want to root and mod. I have no time in my life for that stuff.) - 05-08-2012, 02:06 PM #21

Re: how do i delete the frequent called list??
Yes thanks I am aware that History Eraser will not delete the frequently called list... this thread was a few months old and I recently answered this in a similar thread the other day.
Here's the answer.... there is no easy way of deleting the list. There is a solution but its not practical for everyday use but if for some reason you need that list deleted... here's how:
1) you can wipe the entire phone
Or
2) Delete the contact storage - ***this will delete all of your contacts so make sure you have them backed up to Google or some other method***
Go to Accounts & Sync and turn off contact sync for the Gmail account that is used to store your contacts > Go to Settings... Applications... Manage Applications... All... Contact Storage... Delete data/cache (this will delete all of the contacts from your phone and wipe all call logs, history, favorites, etc... > Go back to Accounts & Sync and turn back on the sync option for your Google Contacts... your contacts will re-populate within a few minutes and the frequently call list will now be erased.
Of course the list will grow again as soon as you start making calls again but for now this is the only way of deleting it. - 07-06-2012, 06:54 PM #23

Just delete the person that you want removed from frequently called list from your contacts list & it will automatically remove from frequently called list & then you can add the person back to the contact list without it showing back up under frequently called list if you want.
