So now that I flashed 4.04 I am seeing some almost unreal times compared to before the flash with the same usage.

Now I do have the extended battery from Verizon but NOT the massive 3800 one from sedio.

Before I flashed the update I was getting around 29.5 hours with light usage and 10% left, a good amount of texting and a little web browsing and a few short calls. Now I just got 53.5 hours and still had 10% left.

What are others getting for best times?

Since I connect via Wifi at home and at work my battery life is great. 14 hours no problem. (I do not stream videos, but do have three email accounts synced, and use the internet and phone throughout the day.

getting 11hrs with heavy use 4.0.2 OEM extended battery.

Sent using text to speech Galaxy Nexus.

The best I got is 14 hours with 5 hours of screen on time. My other top day was something like 31 hours with 3 hours screen on. Ive a bunch in the 12 hour range with 4 hours of screen on time too. Stock with oem extended.

I can usually average about 14-15 hours moderate usage. Screen on time is 2 hours 15 mins. Is 4.04 really a big upgrade in battery life?

Stock 4.0.2, I never have trouble getting through the day.

On my best charge I got close to 40 hours, but that was with fairly light usage and Wifi on all the time. Today I'm at 15 hours with 36% left and usage has been between light/medium.

Through earlier tonight I was running about 40 hours, close to 10% left. ~1 hour screen on time though (fairly light usage - why is no one texting me?). Running 4.0.4, using the 2100 extended battery.

A week or two ago when I first flashed 4.0.4 I was seeing up to around 50 hours on a single charge. Still light usage - texting, checking emails, little bit of browsing now and then.

22 hours with just shy of 3 hours of screen time, standard battery.

If you dont post screen time your stats are absolutely meaningless.

come on guys... 20 something hours???

whats a more realistic battery life to expect???

the battery is not very large, and with LTE and that gorgeous screen I was expecting to 4-10 hours depending on use.

I have the extended battery from Verizon and I get about 12-20 hours

I'm a fairly heavy user as I'm tethering most of the day, screen at about 75% as it's bright at work due to big windows, and I talk a fair amount.

I'm glad if I get about 4 hours before I swap batteries.

Granted when I'm chillin on a day off at home and on wifi I'm getting quadruple that easy.

My girlfriend is from Toronto and just bought the Gnex for Telus and happened to see she was running 1 day 18 hours on her battery and I was like WTF!?! and was at 40%

24+ hours and I have 25% left. This was unusual situation only a few phone calls, light internet, forgot my charger on an overnight. Also forgot to turn off 3G for the night. Only 40 minutes of screen time.

I am on ICS 4.04 with a Rooted and a Rom on a Razr Maxx, I usually see 25 plus hours with light to moderate usage, screen on time 4-6 hours per day , internet and Navigation, texting and calling, Live wallpaper, So far today on battery I have 9hours and 53 minutes and am at 90% charge, with almost no usage, the occasional peek at the screen and an email or 2, I have not cycled the battery yet although they say I should so today I am gonna let it ride till 5 or 6 % and charge up to 100% and start again...lol

Ummm... Isn't this a Verizon Galaxy Nexus forum? We all know the Maxx gets great battery life.

Asking this question your going to get stupid answers from people that don't want to admit or are just plain in denial that this phone has crappy battery.

Your going to hear things like oh i get 22 hours no problem, oh I get 18 and still have 40%.

How about you try using your phones. You know, with the screen on. It doesn't count when you just let your phone sit with the screen off.

Agreed. Screen on time is one of the best ways to compare. If you are playing a game, of course the battery life will be even worse. For instance, my screen on time at one point yesterday was 72 minutes and I was at 71% battery left. Had I been playing angry birds or something for that whole time, I probably would have been closer to 50%.
Most phones should last the whole day if you don't use them or have some app keeping them awake.
