Re: Please Help! Terrible Drain!
When I first activated my phone I was getting maybe 5 to 6 hours on a charge with light use. I disabled NFC and forced it CDMA-only mode. After a few more charge cycles I got 13 hours and 29 minutes since unplugged with 2:02 hours of screen time and 1:23 hours of talk time with the stock battery. My android OS is still higher than it should be, but my battery is is getting me through the work day finally. I hope this helps.

Re: Please Help! Terrible Drain!
That is it in a nutshell. Delete everything. Turn off everything. Then start adding things until you find the guilty app. I am betting on one of widgets. Here are the detailed steps:
Extend Your Battery - Speed Up Your Phone— Milo

Re: Please Help! Terrible Drain!
I started having the same issue just last night. I noticed the phone reset in the middle of the night at random. Sometime in the same period, this thing has started hemorrhaging energy. Have had the phone since it's release, and occasionally the battery gets a little wonky, but today it has been noticeably hungrier.
Haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet. Tried powering on and off several times, but that hasn't changed anything, although the battery went from 19% to about 40% during one power cycle (about 2 minutes), so I'm thinking the battery is ok but the meter may be out of whack.
The only app I have in common with you is Facebook (30 minute updates), but I don't think that has changed recently (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
There were numerous app updates last night. Now I wish I'd paid attention. I know Elixir 2 was updated, and I think Woot Watcher. Anyone know how to get to your notification log.
I'm running stock, btw. 4.0.2 Not rooted or unlocked. - 02-17-2012, 11:30 PM #8
Re: Please Help! Terrible Drain!
Try an app like "BetterBatteryStats" that'll give you a very granular look at what's keeping the phone awake.
It'd be very helpful if you posted the actual screenshots of your battery use / screen on / awake time so we can diagnose better.LG Nexus 4 // T-Mobile - 02-19-2012, 02:22 PM #9
Re: Please Help! Terrible Drain!
I had the same problem and I solved by set up my corporate email to every hour instead of push.

I solved it by plugging it in when im around a charger. Plug it every night there is no need not to plug it night. At your desk or in car plug it in. There is no need to try for 30 hours of life. Average battery use is rated at 6-8 hours. Follow these steps and your phone will b happy
