How is that a bad thing, for non-Nexus devices? God forbid, I wait upwards of 2 weeks to get a "cleaned up" version to flash. I'm perfectly content w/ that. The first ICS ROM was ported over to us, a week and a half after we discovered unlock. Also, keep in mind, every update Google pushes the Nexii way is not needed for use on other phones. (i.e. recoded radios for example).

What that has to do w/ my Rezound is beyond me. I'm running ICS already, so your point is lost on me.

Who cares if most devs. move on in the future. There will always be at least one dedicated dev. updating their ROM(s). Seriously, are you saying the big guns like Cyangenomad will not include Rezound support during our entire 2 year contract. HTC is throwing ICS on the Eris for crying out loud. So I think rooted phones have little need to worry about being stranded.

I'm not trying to argue in here, really. I really dig your phone, I'd own a GNex had they not released it prematurely. I just wanted to point out, your not quite as ICS exclusive as you clamor about, all the time. Thanks to Googles support of AOSP.

Fresh? The only thing fresh about the GNex is the OS. That Galaxy shell has been beaten over like a dead horse for 2+ years. So you aren't exactly
entering new design territory, as well.

This is exactly how I felt.. I had the rezound coming from an evo 3d and it felt the same with more bloatware.. I hate getting a new phone feeling like its old lol.. Camera was a nice upgrade though.. But on the other hand this is what some people like.. That familiar feeling which is why I think they generally make sense look the same even after big updates.. Just depends on how u feel about that.

Thanks for validating my point, nothing is fresh in the market, anymore. Every oem is kicking out clones these days.

I really dug the SA screen on the GN. The TI OMAP chipset is slicker than the S3, no denials here, from me.

If everyone is kicking out clones which I agree with the only way to keep it fresh is the software.. But every phone has their issues.

From the best android phone PERIOD. Galaxy Nexus.
