Rezound it is then. Thanks to all that had input on this. For me the rezound will be a better choice.

If you don't want the GNex, I can understand, but I cannot understand getting a Rezound when HTC is about to come out with new, better phones shortly. They will be previewed at the MWC from 2/27-3/1.

The Rezound is old technology and is heavy, thick, ugly and unviewable outdoors in sunlight. Just wait for the new HTC phones, they will be an improvement over the Rezound, although I caution against going with a quad-core phone until we see how their battery life is.

But they are quickly becoming optimized for ICS, like with Swype.

I have realized that is the issue - VZW's 4G LTE network is in its infancy and has growing pains.

Quad core battery life I'm sure will be worse. Personally every time a new phone comes out there are always issues. It's trying to find the one with least amout is the challenge.

Their point is is that the rezound is off HTC's radar once they have a new flagship. Even so, the rezound isn't even on their first round of ics updates. It's a stellar phone, but if updates and dev community are important to you, I'd go with a nexus device.

Trust me, I traded in my Rezound for the gnex, and I'm so glad I did when I read their update schedule. It further cements my decision to stay with nexus devices only.

What do you mean? It should get the same updates as all the other phones. Are you saying if you don't have a nexus you won't get the updates?

The rezound includes great headphones... Other than that, I think the GNex has it beaten.

Which do you think will be worth more in a year? Two years?

Also, check out amazonwireless.com

Dropped data and high pitch screech on calls is an issue with me. Especially since alot of you already had the phones replaced and the issue is still there.

I'm in Houston on a GNex and I rarely get dropped data. (Although it happens, and will happen on the Rezound or any other 4G phone.)

As for a "high pitch screech", I have no idea what you're talking about.
