does anyone else have this problem - can't type after unlock?

I am running aokp with gladOS 1.15 and if I am texting someone, and lock my screen, when I unlock it I can't type anything. My keyboard works and I can see suggestions in the auto correct bar, but I have to back out to the main messaging screen and re enter my conversation before I can send a text. I can't remember if this happened on stock or not

Just tried on stock. Seems fine to me. My lock screen is PIN. Maybe try a different lock method see if it changes anything.

I am running AOKP as well (b27) and I don't have that issue either. Have you tried flashing a different kernel to narrow down the culprit? What keyboard are you using? Have you tried this using a different keyboard?

I'm using the stock keyboard, I'll try flashing a different kernel when I get home from work. I don't see how the kernel would effect the keyboard though?
