    Default Wallet

I am not rooted on stock 4.0.2 but I am very interested in using Google wallet. I tried downloading the file from xda but when I go to open it from downloads I get a message that says file cannot be opened. Do I need to be rooted to use this? If not can anyone help me out with getting it on my phone? Thank you.

Go into settings>security and scroll down and make sure Unknown Sources is checked. if this is checked and still having issues you can also try the below method.

Open your browser on your phone and go to the play store (market). There will be a pop up that asks if you want to use the browser or the app, choose browser. Search the store for google wallet. Once found click on the install button. you should get a pop up to choose browser or app choose app. this should take you to google wallet in the play store app and you should be able to install from there.

If you do not have a CitiBank Mastercard with Paypass you will need to use the Google Prepaid card in the App. the app will walk you through all the steps. You will add money to the prepaid card. its very easy. You can only use google wallet at locations with a Paypass terminal. you can use this app to find locations near you.

    good luck

Are there any work arounds to get Google Wallet on my Samsung Galaxy S2 (TMO)?

I've done plenty of searches, and tried the work arounds out there (going to the market/play store through my browser, signing in, etc.) and have been able to download the app. I also tried loading the apk, and successfully got the app on my phone, but I'm getting a "Google Wallet has not yet been certified in your country or on your device/carrier".

Anything I can do to get this to work?

    Thanks!
