It's actually the person on the other end of the call that hears the echo not me. I'm using a wired headset, but other people with the same issue have said that it doesn't matter whether they use wired or wireless headsets. It happens 100% of the time. It's super annoying to say the least, that my $300 phone can't even preform such a basic function without issues.

Re: How many Galaxy Nexuses have you gone through?
I've had 4 total shipped to me. Got sent 3 refurbished units which were worse than my launch day unit. I sent back the refurbished phones and kept my original. Still pissed at how VZW didn't handle the situation.

Re: How many Galaxy Nexuses have you gone through?
I've had the same thing with the person on the other end saying they hear an echo, but mine it's all with BT since I never use wired.
Sometimes they hear it sometimes they don't but it's been with every phone I've ever owned.
Maybe it is different with the wired headset, I can't really comment on that since I've never used one. - 04-08-2012, 08:44 AM #32
Still on my original one. I got it on launch day... Only problems have been with reception, but not too bad... Recently it has randomly rebooted a couple of time on me, and but probably due to new apps installed. Love this phone and can't wait for 4.0.5.

1. Defective. Would never get a signal.
2. Worked great until it took a swim in the toilet.
3. Works great and now is afraid of water. - 04-08-2012, 11:10 AM #34

On my second. My launch day GNex had the rolling MAC address problem.

Re: How many Galaxy Nexuses have you gone through?
I'm on my original purchased December on release day. So far no 4g signal problems, no call problems, only notice a delay moving to landscape orientation.
Very pleased with the vids the camera takes, pictures ain't too bad either.

Second one. The first I had from launch day I had all of two days. It had a small defect in the screen in the form of a small light colored whisp on dark screens. This one has been perfect save for the slow screen transition.
Videos are great and if you see some of the pics I took out in Sedona AZ and the Grand Canyon I don't think anyone would complain....
Nice to have a phone I don't wanna replace for a change . : ) Looking forward to it getting even better.

Re: How many Galaxy Nexuses have you gone through?
I'm terrified of getting CLN. I'm on number 3 right now, getting number 4 in the mail tomorrow. Hopefully it will have no problems with it. I've had horrible experiences in the store replacing my GNex. They had problems doing DOAs, etc., etc., blah blah blah and ended up waiting in the store 4+ hours each time I had to swap it out. The last one I even had to go between two stores because each store just kept giving up.

Re: How many Galaxy Nexuses have you gone through?
I'm still on my launch day device. No issues (knock on wood). Of course it took a year before I started seeing issues with my launch Droid X. By the time I upgraded to my GNex, I had gone through 5 DX devices. Let's hope my GNex isn't the same way.
