If 4.0.2 brought on the bugs, would there be a way to revert back to 4.0.1?

The ones they fixed with 4.0.2.

j/k, 4.0.2 was a pre release update so I don't know if there was ever a changelog released for it since it was downloaded as soon as you powered on the phone the first time.

If you really wanted to give it a try...

if you unlock your bootloader, you can roll back using the 4.0.1 for the mysid "toro" located at the very bottom of the page.
You don't need root and these are official from google.
