Accidentally double downloaded a picture from my gmail. The picture download it's fine but 1 of the times it failed and now I have the icon in the status always telling me it's downloading. I've tried everything I can think of, clearing the cache disabling the app, force stopping the app, nothing seems to get the icon to go away. Any ideas, thanks

I had this issue with facebook a couple of times and I don't remember what fixed it. All I know is I eventually fixed it. I'm pretty sure I tried everything you did and one of them worked. Or maybe it just needed time to stop itself.

Is it the Gmail app? You can clear data and that might fix it.
