I really enjoy modifying the phones I have had on the most basic level, aesthetics etc. But I want to learn more about them so recently I picked up a brand new Gnex LTE from craigslist for a steal. The phone has had a dropped call or 2 but other than that has been pretty smooth and I like it.

What I'm looking for help with is how to do all the customizing such as ROMs, rooting, flashing etc. Remember the yellow books "(your subject) for dummies" that's the level I'm looking for.

Anyways any help such as links or just plain info would be cool.

Read them all, maybe twice, try to follow along, its all easier than you think. When you're set if you have any questions browse through the rooting section there are plenty of threads with questions answered, and if you have your own you don't see mentioned we'll be happy to help you out
