    Default "reclaiming" used ram

is there a way to reclaim used ram? when i start my phone i have over 250 mb, but after a day i'm left with around 100mb. the only way i know to reclaim lost ram is to restart. it doesn't seem to be just a matter of shutting down running apps because the ram used by those don't add up to the missing ram. not even if i add the cached apps. so ram is being used somewhere for something that i can't seem to get back. this results in a slow down of other apps i want to use and slow loading of the home screen when i exit out of apps. i just want to be able to get back my usual 250+ ram without shutting down the phone each time. thanks.

Fast reboot solved ram congestion for me. I've been using it for over a year.

tried that reboot app, but all it does is reclaim ram being used by apps i can see. it speeds up for a min or so, until the apps restart and claim the ram again. however, that still doesn't release the ram that's somehow being used and hidden. this app doesn't seem to be able to restart whatever it is that's holding up that large chunk of ram (around 100mb or so).
