To those of you who have gotten Verizon to swap out for the Maxx
What did you do have to do to get them to do this? Did you have to get a replacement phone or two first? I really don't wanna fool with wasting my time for problems that are just gonna exist in other phones.

Go to VZ corporate store and ask to speak to the store manager and persuade.
Otherwise over the phone with tech support you'll have to accept a couple more of those used POS replacements that are worse than your original GN. - 05-03-2012, 06:07 AM #3
What you need to do is document your dropped calls and other issues. Tech knows the phone having issues. Once you have the dropped calls verizon will offer you a replacement phone. It took me 4 weeks of calling and going to verizon corp store. When you pressure them they will give in

I have one of those "like new " replacement phones coming today. If it is beat up and even one small scratch, back it goes. And back on the phone I will be. It's hit or miss with vzw crappy tech support.

Re: To those of you who have gotten Verizon to swap out for the M
My Maxx will be here tomorrow, made one call to tech support, 20 mins, and they offered me a swap right away. I explained that I received the new update and my signal still wasn't up to par, he said the update was no where in their system so he had to google it and that's how he verified that it was available. overall very please with the way they handled it, he was aware of the problems and offered to fix it right away. A+ verizon.
