Yes, noticed that too. I hope my VZW Xoom gets ICS soon and HBO and Max Go get update for tablets.

I cannot get this app to work....
Just when the video should start, I get this error message:
"Could not play content. Try again later."
    Any ideas?

Whenever I go to log in it force closes, is this because my phone is rooted?

    That is not the cause.

Yeah it's about time!!! I can't use Max Go because Comcast doesn't support it yet.

awesome thanks for the heads up, I've been checking on this now and then.

I notice in the preferences, there's a 3G checkbox that says there are potential charges for using 3G for data. So.......I'm not aware of there being charges for using 3G on Verizon, anyone else know what this is about?

You will only be charged if you go over your alloted data.

ok thanks I've never seen anything from Verizon making a billing distinction between 3g and 4g, was surprised to see it made in this app

Does anyone else with HBO GO have a problem when trying to sign in with Comcast as your cable provider? It tells me HBO GO is not currently available from Comcast. I'm guessing Comcast is behind this for some dumb reason.

I can sign in, I just can't get anything to play. I always get the error message: "Could not play content. Try again later."
Interestingly, HBO GO plays just fine on my PC. Chatting with Comcast didn't help. They gave me some line about having to change the settings on my cable box! I've just given up for now....

    RE: Picture quality

Doesn't look like HD to me. I've never used HBO Go on the desktop so I don't know if that is a limitation of the service or of the app.

    RE: Comcast sign-in

No problems here, logged in without a problem and was able to watch video right away (this is over my home WiFi, haven't tried over 4G yet).

Worked fine for me the other day.

I read through some of the older HBO Go posts and couldn't find my answer, so I figured i'd post it here.
I have FIOS and I have HBO (and other channels) but I can't get the HBO Go to work. Everytime I sign in, it won't let me get past the sign in page, tells me I'm not an HBO subscriber.
Has anyone figured out what the issue is? Or am i s.o.l. with the HBO Go?
