Anyone got an easy way to get rid of the VZW voicemail notification?

I use Google Voice, but for some reason, when I got off the plane today, there was a VZW voicemail notification. I cant clear it and I cant access VZW voicemail since I use Google Voice.

you can dial your cell from another phone, when the voicemail starts hit 7 or 9, i do not remember which, put in your password and clear it that way.

umm not sure about how google voice effects it. but to access vzw voicemail thru a different phone... call your number when voice mail starts hit the #key and enter pin. hope that helps.

oh yeh alt way...go into voicemail settings and change voicemail to carrier instead of gvoice.

Dial *73 from the cell phone to disable the conditional forwarding. Then call your voicemail with *86 to listen and clear the notification. Once done, dial *71 and your google voice number to reactivate it. *71xxxxxxxxxx
