Default Which keyboard are you using?

Just curious if anyone is using Swype or Swiftkey. Or if there's another keyboard that is good. Have been using Swiftkey for my last few phones but I just downloaded Swype and it seems pretty good. Dragon Go that is integrated with Swype seems nice and accurate as well.

Used Swype but then found I had to Swype the entire world. Being basically lazy I switched to Swiftkey 3 beta and now only tap a letter or two and the word pops up. Sometimes I don't tap any letters and the next word pops up.

I find that Swiftkey 3 beta constructs sentences with better grammar than I do.

Swype beta here. Actually really really dislike that it uses the Dragon voice thing instead of the native ICS one. I find the native one to be superior. Wish I could toggle it back, but after trying another keyboard for a while for this issue, I had to come back to swype. With swype, no need to go landscape (slower this way actually), and can type faster one handed than with two on a regular kb.

    YMMV

Do you have the market version of Swiftkey on your phone as well? Wondering if I install the 3 beta whether it will overwrite the market version or install as a separate app.

If you've used the market version, is the beta 3 a big improvement? I've just been waiting for them to release the update but might try out the beta.

For anyone interested in trying out the Swiftkey Beta 3, it can be downloaded on their site

Going to try Beta 3. Just found out it will install as a separate keyboard option if you are running the market version on your phone as well.

After using Swype Beta for a bit (I do a lot of typing on my phone), had to go back to swiftkey.

Some ppl swear by swype. Could never get the hang of it.

Swiftkey 3 beta with the holo theme. I wish they would add more themes. (yeah I'm the theme freak)

Don't fret Larry, I succumb to peer pressure alla time

Swiftkey beta with the Halloween theme. I can type "fast and sloppy" and it reads my mind.

also, on swiftkey beta, does it finally give you word predictions when typing on the web/forums? thats the only downfall of swiftkey X imho.

Have used swype and swift key 3 beta

As far as pure speed, for me Swype has no peer esp when I'm typing a lot of text like memos etc. I find Swiftkey easier when you have a lot of weird non-dictionary words, numbers(love the number pad that's got a calculator arrangement). So I'm now defaulting to swype.

swype keyboard for sure. I don't always swipe though. sometimes I'll use the keyboard like a keyboard. the choice with Swype to swipe is what makes it my choice.

Thumb Keyboard has been my default for quite a while. I like the split keyboard in landscape and the ability to customize the secondary symbols on the keyboard.

I like swype, but the problem is that it sometimes puts in completely wrong words. At least with one of the manual keyboards I usually get what I mean, or something very close. Also the ICS dictation is much better as its sort of "live". With Swype you don't know what it thinks you said until you're done speaking.

Swiftkey X for me. Gives me the best feel of a physical keyboard then any other ones I've tried. Tried to get into swype but its just not for me.

Used to use swiftkey and then swiftkey x, occasionally perfect keyboard on my droid incredible. I've found the stock ICS keyboard good enough though on the nexus.
