    Default Contacts disappearing on reset

For some reason, whenever I wipe my phone and then re-sync my contacts from Gmail, certain people get left out. This happens on my Galaxy Nexus and also happened with my ThunderBolt. I obviously have it set up to sync with Gmail under Settings>Accounts, but am I missing something else I should be doing? I could just manually import/export my contacts list, but that is less than ideal...

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is redundant; didn't see anything after doing a quick search on Tapatalk.

I have the EXACT same issue...and it literally TICKS me off. I got thru months of having either duplicate entries or figuring out who I lost.

Is there an Android app for this?

Yeah, just imported my contacts from before the reset and now there are doubles of everyone. Annoying.
