Phone thinks its charging when its not

Phone thinks its still on charge it keeps turning the screen on and killing the battery I reset the phone and all that good stuff anyone else have this problem

How hot is the phone? After 120 it stops charging but still looks like it is charging. Also maybe a bad micro USB olug

Since I got the phone its always been getting hot and its like on and off half the day its fine when it gets low its always showing that its charging I'll go from 30% to 12 in a min I'm about to call my insurance

Don't call ins call vzw and tell them phones not charging. They will send u refurb with no cash out a of your pocket its a known problem

Check the charging port for gunk.

My release day gnex wouldn't even charge so next day I took it in they swapped it out. 5months later my nexus stopped charging like first vzw tried like hell to give me a maxx but I wanted a nexus so they sent me a replacement so far so good. But I have noticed when my phone hits 120 it stops charging guess that's a safety feature.
