Google Nexus acessories work with Verizon GN?

Anyone know for certain that the acessories for the Google Nexus aren't compatiable with Verizon's Galaxy Nexus?

There is some talk about this in the accessories forum above. My interest lies in the Car Dock (not the POS mount VZ sells, and I bought). They DO work, but require modification due to the LTE version being very slightly thicker. I see the tool 'dremel' tossed around.

I am very close to trying it for myself, since I have BT streaming issues and would love a dock that included the AUX cable in addition to the charge cable. If your only interest is charging, I have found a site where a guy that is presumably much better than I am with a soldering iron, modified the VZ mount and attached a micro USB plug and pogo pin receptor. He wants like 60-80 bucks I think.
