My sample is very unscientific, but I always used to have to plug the damn thing in before the end of the work day. Now I don't.

Battery life is the same for me. Although I'm having a few other issues. I'm about to do a master reset but all in all the update has refined the os which is quite nice now. The new camera ui and rotation speed are great now.

I assume It can be a good thing when your screen uses 68%. It always adds up to a 100 so if you're not using a ton of brightness then your probably solid. As far as battery life my I've added maximum sync and gps and seem to be doing fine maybe even better.

Yeah, Android OS is definitely way down since the update! I still wish the battery drain was slower while it's asleep though.

That may be due to what's syncing on your phone and what kind of signal it's getting while it does that. If you have a lot of apps syncing they will wake up the phone to do it.

You can go to Settings > Battery and click on the graph that shows battery drain, and it'll tell you when it was actually awake and when it used GPS, WiFi, etc. That might give a clue. You can also turn off sync completely, overnight, and see if that helps.

I think mine is a little bit improved, but hard to tell since I just moved into 4G about 2 days before I got the update, and I'm using FoxFi to tether as my only source of internet right now.
Also, I didn't charge it last night and it went from 100% to 85% in the 8 hours I was sleeping. People complaining about their phones dying over night need to look at their apps, I've never had that happen before or after the update.

I think mine is much improved nothing super great but better. When on standby it hardly drains. usually at 30% after 16 hours.

My area got 4g a week before the update. Turned the battery to mush. Drained right before your eyes. Since the update it seems I've been getting better stand by time then when set to just 3g. With moderate usage it seems comparable. I think the update has helped.

Battery life totally improved for me. I forgot my phone at work over a day and a half. When I got it back I squeezed out 5 hours of use out of it. Granted I wasn't connected to 4G but still.

I can't complain. I say I use my device moderately and at the end of the day, I'm at 12 hours of usage with 2 hours of screen time and still have 40%-50% left ( stock battery, 40% screen brightness ). I could probably stretch it two days if I had to. Keep in mind I'm coming from a Thunderbolt as well.
