Is This Typical GNex Signal Strength?

I got a GNex about 10 days ago and really like the phone except for low signal and battery life issues. My signal strength usually is between -104 and -120 dBm in strong signal areas. I have had a few times where I have to use my wife's Razr Maxx because I have no signal. Is it worth exchanging for another GNex or is this about as good as it gets signal wise?

I'll get as low as -120, but only in areas where the signal has always been bad. At home, where it's good I get -83. I'm looking at -120 right now with no bars but I'm able to make calls. Sounds like a bum unit.

Signal as low as -120 dBM has got to be a huge battery drain even if you can still make calls. Or, am I missing something?
