Verizon Galaxy Nexus 4.1 Jelly Bean external storage issue???????
Ok guys, as the title says i have a Verizon LTE Galaxy Nexus and im running the leaked jelly bean 4.1. I have the usb to micro usb adapter and when i plug my thumb drive into the phone it wont reconize it at all. I did not have this problem at all when i was running stock ICS or most recently AOKP build 40 with Franco's kernel. Does anyone know if its still a function or if i am doing anything wrong. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Do you have fast charge enabled in the Kernel? In Franco's Kernel?
If so turn it off.Last edited by imnotajedi; 07-04-2012 at 12:02 PM.

There new permission to access external memory, system don't check it by default so it won't break old apps right now (they giving developer time to set premission in there apps) but in developer setting you can enforce checks rigth now, check if you don't have this turn on. Thru it sounds like missing kernel module

Re: Verizon Galaxy Nexus 4.1 Jelly Bean external storage issue???
ok, now im running the vicious jelly bean and im still having the same issue. i used to be able to plug the flash drive in with the adapter and the music on it would be under play music, i could watch movies from it in play movies, and all pics on it would be in my gallery. now nothing. like i said, before jellybean i was running aokp build 40 4.0.4 with francos milestone 4 kernel.
again, any help will be much appreciated.
