Default water damage...now no data connection. internal antenna possibly?

The phone has water damage and how the data connection won't work. Do you think a simple internal intenna replacement will work? Everything else seems to be functioning

I would try getting a replacement for the LTE card first. VZW corporate stores replace them for free

unless the OP is in a hurry, just call VZW customer service and they'll FedEx one
overnight... my nearest VZW corproate store is 6 miles away, or 12 miles roundtrip.
with my car's MPG, it'll burn about 1.5 gallons of premium unleaded. at today's price,
    that's about $5.

a couple of weeks ago I needed a new LTE SIM card because my stupid dog thought
it was fun to chew on it(after I dropped it on the floor) called Verizon around 3pm
and the FedEx driver delivered it around 8:30AM the very next morning. the only down
side is that you'll have to personally sign for it, as VZW doesn't allow FedEx drivers
to leave it at the door. (even for a tiny SIM card that's free.... )

It actually get pretty decent MPG for a 5-liter...17 hwy and 10 city/mixed.

My house is on the same road as the VZW corporate store, just 6 miles
apart. However, has many, many traffic lights, plus it's always stop and
go with tons of cars during the day. Its usually takes about 30 minutes to
drive the 6 miles. (even slower in rush hour traffic) That's the reason
    for the poor MPG.

You do know that higher octane levels simply means the fuel is more stable to prevent engine knocking, right? Unless you're driving around a luxury or sports car, you probably don't need Premium (and if you were, you likely wouldn't be too bothered by the price of gas). Most gas companies also add up to* 10% ethanol which has a higher octane rating, so Regular might actually have the octane definition of Plus. Consult the manual to see what the manufacturer recommends.

*up to meaning around 5% or less today, so they don't have to change the labels every so often.

Actually your wrong about FedEx not bring able to leave things at your door for VZW, leave a note saying. Please leave package in door, or side door or wherever us good for you & they will leave it. I have done this probably 20 times.. Make sure you sign & print your name at the bottom if the note..

That sounds like pretty horrible gas mileage.. I have a 5 liter extended-van (holds 15 people legally) and doesn't get that bad of mileage.
