That story is from March or May, so I'll forgive them assuming jelly bean would be a full version jump. But they said the galaxy nexus in the play store was identical to the Sprint and Verizon nexus minus storage capacity.

The rumor of multiple nexus partners has been floating around for a while. You could say it is true since Asus built the nexus 7 and Google built the Q - that's 3 nexus vendors including Samsung. Add in a new nexus phone by somebody else like Motorola and that's 4 different nexus manufacturers if the galaxy nexus is still sold along side it in the play store.

the article was written before JB was announced officially so they believed it to be 5.0 and not 4.1.. The source of the article I think was digitimes which could be totally bogus but I am hoping that it isnt.

I'm afraid the next Nexus will also have no MicroSD slot... Google has said that when the current Nexus was released.
They don't want it in their future Nexus devices. (as also seen on the Nexus 7)

On board storage will probably still be 32GB...

This is the newest rumor as of now. There will be three nexus devices, The Optimus Nexus from LG, the Xperia Nexus from Sony, and the Galaxy Nexus II from Samsung:
