Stock Email Crashes After Installing Jelly Bean

I received and installed the Jelly Bean update several days ago on my V GNex. After doing this, I have been having problems with the stock email app that came with the phone. It constantly just suddenly closes out. Sometimes I'll open an email to start reading it, and poof, it's suddenly gone. The email itself and the app is totally closed out. Then I have re-open everything, and the same thing will happen. It does not happen all the time, but enough to be quite annoying. (I Have tried a few other email apps in the past, but didn't like them b/c they ate up too much of my battery and resources). Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Is there a way to report this? When it stops, it does NOT give me the usuall "This app has stopped responding, would you like to wait, stop, or report a problem?" pop-up. It just closes with no warning or error message.
