Hard Reset or Software Update?
I powered off my Nexus. The held down the volume down button and the Power button. No other prompts came up and it immediately went into a screen that said Downloading Do not turn off target (see attached). It has been stuck that way for over 1/2 hour. You held volume down while powering it up, and now you're in Odin mode. Just pull the battery and boot up like normal :)
