What size sim card does the galaxy nexus for Verizon use? Also can I switch sim cards between devices and it will just work right away?

You're going to be fine then, as they're both LTE devices running on Verizon's network, at least as long as all concerned devices use the same size SIM card (i.e. microSIM). Just don't leave the SIM card out of a device for an extended period of time (more than one week).

The Galaxy Nexus uses Micro SIM cards and you can swap out Micro SIM between 4G LTE phones with Micro SIM slots.

I ended up getting a adapter off eBay that worked no problem and was able to switch between my rezound and nexus.
