Default Google Chrome and Rainy Mood...

Hello everyone! I have an issue going on with websites with streaming media and google chrome. It seems when I either lock the screen, switch tabs, or switch apps, the media that was playing on the website I was on (In this case rainy mood) will stop. I really have no clue at all how to solve this besides keeping the screen awake, or not switching the webpage/app but the things is I WANT to do this... any idea on what I can do besides buy the rainy mood app? Thanks!

Btw I am Rooted, so if I need anything special let me know

There's very little you can do about the problem as long as you're using Chrome. That functionality is built into the application itself; it stops media playback when the screen goes off, in the same manner that the YouTube app pauses videos.

What about using a generator/mixer like this one? You can select four sounds from a long list of samples, balance their volumes, and even select patterns for the samples. It allows you to export your mix to a file that you could sideload onto your phone and then play in the default music player.

There's a difference between multitasking which they most certainly do allow in Android and on this phone and playing media through a browser when the screen is off. A web browser is not meant to play media while the device is asleep, as most media that would be played in the browser is video. Music players such as the Google Music app exist for this very reason; they have much tighter integration with Android and are intended to seamlessly play audible media while the screen is off or the application is not part of the foreground process.

Take a few minutes to use the link I mentioned above, create your custom ambient rain/fire/wind/water/whatever file, sideload it, and by doing so save yourself the hassle of using the browser for this.
