Gmail issue?

Hello all,
Just wondering why when I login to gmail on my PC I get emails sitting there ( not spam ) like pintrest and merrel for examples unread they never make it to the phone.
Also if I have gmail open on the PC and a new email arrives it won't goto the phone either so I have to forward to myself if I want to have it for future references.

Well do you have gmail synced to your phone? Check that setting in your gmail app and select what folders you'd like to be synced. If that's not the case then I don't really know what to tell you. Usually if I don't get something it's because it's not syncing.

so I open the gmail app, goto settings, and yes gmail sync is on, i dont see anything about folders.

well I guess what I was talking about were the labels where you can manage and sync your labels for mails. not sure if that would help. other than that I'm not sure on what to tell you. sorry I couldn't be more of assistance.
