Purple Background on Notification Center and Behind Keyboard

Is this supposed to be like this? Behind the keyboard is purple and when I pull down the notification center it has the same hue. Also, when I minimize the keyboard on a white screen I see some outlines of keys temporarily.

Sounds like what you're experiencing is the screen burn-in effect (or something like that). From my understanding, AMOLED displays begin to "burn-in" after usage over time, making icons and other visuals appear to be "burned" onto the background or leaving a purplelish or blueish hue behind. It's pretty much a normal indication of usage wear that develops over time. I actually have a purple hue bar from the navigation bar that presents itself when I watch videos on YouTube in landscape.
