Greetings. Please note that I am essentially a n00b when it comes to what I am about to explain, so please bear with me.
I have a Galaxy Nexus from Verizon that is currently reporting the following:
I have repeatedly performed a forced update to 4.1.1 (JRO03O) through the Force Stop of Google Services Framework and Clear Data of same.
At each subsequent reboot of the system, it reports it is running 4.0.4 build IMM76Q. This seems rather peculiar to me.
My goal is to get to 4.2.2 as I understand I should have it but since my phone continues to install the same update and get nothing, I suspect something is wrong.
I have no problem with wiping out my phone as I use Google+ to backup all my photos, I have no games worth keeping and my Contacts are all updated to various external sources.
Any assistance would be awesome.
EDIT : Yes, I have pulled both the battery and the SIM card.
