unable to return to stock

PLEASE HELP! I have tried everything in my power to flash the stock rom back onto my N2. I have tried different MD5 files with and without PIT files. Also have tried different computer, different usb ports.Everytime Odin fails at the same spot no matter what. I can however flash "beans" back onto the device through odin no problems. I need help desperately.

Where are you getting the stock rom from? Have you tried a different source?

What is the spot where the process fails? If you can pinpoint where in the steps from DroidXcon's guide things are failing then it may provide some clues.
