Just want to get a confirmation from you experts. I've only done a tiny bit of research into if there are different variant of the phone that wont work on certain carriers. I bought the GT-N7100 Factory Unlocked model on Amazon just now, will I be all set to activate it when it arrives?

Why not? Because its the International Version? Which model should I be looking for to work on Verizon?
no model other than the one sold by verizon will work on their network
So to buy the phone off contract, I have to buy it through Verizon? There's no other way? That's so lame.
If you want to purchase a Verizon compatible device from Amazon you will have to wait for a bit longer.

Yes, the international version is GSM only, no LTE on Verizon's bands and no CDMA radio (Verizon 3G capability). VZW model is SCH-i605. I'd be amazed if that's on Amazon yet since it hasn't been officially released by VZW in their stores as of today.Quote:
