So yeah.. messing around and stumbled across a gem ... if you hold down the wifi notification in the tray app info will come up.. force stop it and its gone.. im shocked

it comes back the next time u access the internet via the cellular network
Doesnt for me.go into your WiFi networ settings and turn it off completely and turn of whereit says keep WiFi active even during sleep.
