Default apps

This is going to be a stupid question, and if it's been asked before I apologize, but I couldn't find anything on it. If I click on a link, with in Gmail for instance, I get a pop up that says "Complete action using: Internet or Popup Browser". Then below that it says Always or Just Once. I selected Internet and then Always, but every time I click on a link, this pops up again. I thought that once I clicked "Always" that would stop popping up? What gives? (Fyi, it happens whether I click the same link, or another link). Thanks guys and gals.

for everything or just browser?

It does the same for me. I think it's broken.

It does it with other things too. Unfortunately, I can't remember what they are at the moment. As I find them again, I will post.

do me a favor go to setting>developer options>scroll down to apps section and tell me if Do Not keep activities is checked off
