$199 is only for new customers. If you are an existing VZW customer and upgrading, you pay $279.

i bought mine a few days ago... i will call the verizon store see if they give me any credit. i was new customer and i know they have 14days return policy.

Apparently if you are an existing customer and paying them thousands a year on a cell plan ,they don't feel any sense of obligation to do right by you

Totally sucks. My wife and I are getting our GN2's this weekend. I saw the amazon deal on twitter and should have known better than to get my hopes up. Oh well. Still excited to get this beast.

i don't know if you've already gotten your answer, but i just called best buy and they said they would match the price. hopefully it's true of all best buys.

Went to BB this morning and got it for $199. The only way they would do it was to return it and then resell it to me ( the same phone ). Think I got lucky . It was early and they just did it no questions asked. Didn't wven verify it on amazon.

Went to BB and traded in my AT&T iPhone 4s and got the Verizon Note 2 with my trade in. They wasn't aware of Amazon selling the Note 2 for $199 but they price match and walked out of there without using none of my own money.
