Can't change radio type

Using the phone info app, I can't switch the signal from global to lte/cdma. I can select the change but can't save the change. This is the first device I have owned that will not allow me to change this setting using phone info.

My Phone info app doesn't have a LTE/CDMA setting. If I want that setting I just change it under my phone's regular mobile network settings.

You also can't select cdma only.

Oh I never tried phone info I was trying the phones internal settings. Your right I was doing something wrong.

You're not on Verizon phone or not stock, at least your info doesn't coincide with mine.

You can use phone info to change over to CDMA only but, so far I have to use the stock interface to revert back to allowing LTE.

I just changed it in the network type menu included with the phone. I just wanted it off "Global". Worked fine. On my HTC phones their was no menu item and I had to use phone info.

I too am on a stock VZW Note 2.

Settings > more settings > network mode select your choice to revert back to functioning LTE

He's saying he can choose just cdma.

I have global, lte/cdma, and gsm/umts.

You have to.download the application called "phone info" and set it to CDMA only auto prl.

That was my original problem and reason for creating this topic. Phone info would not allow me to make a change. I could change the drop down selection, but it won't stay there. It reverts to the "Global" setting no matter what I tried. I just gave up on the phone info app and used the internal phone settings.

Sorry,I don't have that issue. When I use phone info, it changes just fine. After using phone info to set my phone to CDMA auto prl, I can go look at the stock settings and they are blank.

I downloaded the app and I could change it to cdma only and it didn't revert back until I changed the setting so it works for me.
