If there was a request to have the thread taken down then it was for good reason. By DroidXcon complying to this request I would guess it means he will not be providing anything concerning that thread via PM either.

Any particular reason it got taken down? He was doing us a huge service and I honestly can't see a reason why it would need to be taken down. Modding things is a huge part of Android. It's not like he was trying to make money off it, he simply did it to help us.

Guessing it's likely due to posting up full app APK files against the owners permission.

Ie - posting a hacked up copy of say Netflix or something.

Doesn't have to be that app but obviously one or more apk owners were upset.
