Do you think I should lock in unlimited now? I was somewhat concerned that t-mobile was taking that strategy to compensate for the lack of LTE now, unlimited LTE seems like a holy grail plan but I have wifi included in my rent currently.. 15 bucks extra a month from my current 5 gb cap. Also, does tethering add significant latency in terms of gaming?

And plus son already said that sprints unlimited is gonna stay lol. He said that's the main reason why he said he's backing sprint of their confidence of backing unlimited as others were going capped or throttled route

Because that's sprints only reason for people to stay with them otherwise they have no other good reason to stay other than the fact that they get most phones to hit the market

Sprint will get rid of unlimited once they see how much data people use just like Verizon and at&t did

What good is unlimited when the speeds are so unusable you can't seem to break past the 2gb mark.

doesn't matter when 99.6% of your users are on 3g and will be for a while. They will change
if and when they start to get a good 50% of theii users on LTE...But if everyone else has moved
to 5g and 6g..sprint may keep their unlimited going on 4g...

Your one of the lucky ones with lte so it's not that we are hating its just that sprint dropped the ball with this rollout and how much are they paying you to praise them so. Much

In about a week and a half so far on my current cycle, I've only used 696 MB on a 4 GB plan.

Very rarely am I out of WiFi coverage.

T-Mobile throttles your connection after you use the 2 gigs. I.e., their throttled connection is all but useless. My connection speed when throttled is like dial-up (56 k, not even 1 mbps).
