Interesting developments regarding Google Wallet

So I call Verizon to ask about Google Wallet. Tech tells me it is being reviewed for future support and is not supported because of security reasons.:banghead:

When I first got my Note II I could download Wallet but in launch it would just tell me it was not supported on this device. Yesterday I checked it on the Play Store and in the Play Store it says "not supported on this device" and not even able to be downloaded. But still there. Tonight I can't even find the app in the Play Store. Then I found this.

A new version of Google Wallet is coming and you can request an invite. I requested mine. I will keep you updated if I get an invite. Could this be the version Verizon supports?
