Default how come "MX Player" is now in the multi-window list?

how come "MX Player" is now in the multi-window list? I just noticed it today.... did something happen?
it's the first time a third-party app made it there, IIRC?

NVM... just found the answer on MX Player's webiste... they added Samsung multiwindow support in the most recent Feb 10 update. Bravo!

Because MX Player recently updated to support it.
It's listed in their Changelog on Google Play.

I wonder if it's possible to have two videos playing at the same time. (one on MX Player and one on the stock video player)
Haven't had the guts to try it yet.. don't want to make the processor explode.

Does it still require having 4.1.2 in order to get MX Pro to do multi window? I updated my MX Pro but dont see the option to get multi-window? I'm still on 4.1.1 with Verizon.

    my bad... I got confused.

Like others have said, the cause of the new feature is due to the fact that MX Player developers are smart enough to incorporate multiwindow support in their latest update. just wish other app developers wake up and do the same!

Hot d@mn, it works! I'm now playing 2 separate movies at the same time in split screen mode! I'm playing Star Wars in the stock video player, and Grease in the MX Player. When playing 2 movies simultaneously in split screen mode, the Note 2 phone shows both movies horizontally, instead of up and down. Only major conflict is the sound, because I can sort of hear the 2 sounds of the separate movies, but one movie sound is more dominant while the other movie sound is reduced in volume. Works though!

By the way, Firefox browser suddenly showed up in my split screen menu! I can now view 2 different websites using 2 separate browsers in the top and bottom screens, that's pretty cool !!!
Is that a Samsung Note 2 in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?
