I've tried searching for a topic/fix on this, but I find nothing. I boot my Note, and after about 5-10 seconds of using it the screen goes black, and I get the Samsung splash screen then the VZW image. When it comes back, the frame rate is horrible. If I lock the phone, then unlock again, the frame rate is restored. Also, very frequently when this happens, a ****load of apps will crash.
I'm running 4.3, stock rooted. If I remember correctly, last time I had any sort of trouble with it I did a factory reset. tried clearing Dalvik cache, that did nothing. I'm assuming I need to flash and use the pit file, but I'm just hoping perhaps there is another way...
UPDATE: Flashing with pit file seemed to resolve the issue.
