Please help with APN Settings not showing up

Hey guys. I just bought a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2 from a third party and I'm trying to get it activated on Straight Talk. I'm about 75% done with the setup process. I can make calls, send texts but not browse the Internet. I went into the phone settings and tried to setup the APN Settings as instructed by Straight talk. The problem is that there are no options listed at all when I go the APN settings of the phone. When I go to the APN Settings, the screen is black and if I hit the menu button, the only option it gives me is to restore default settings. I tried that and still nothing. Please help. Thanks

I am also having the same problem my APN setting is not showing up.
I am using lenovo ideapad A10 android laptop. Android version:4.2.2 Kernel version:3.0.36+qicm
