Google Now error

Anyone have an issue with Google now? It no longer reads my main gmail account, instead it says there is an issue with my network.

Anyone else ever get this?

No, but a few minutes ago, one of the strangest things I've seen on my phone was when google now opened up on it's own. I wasn't touching the screen. First time for that weirdness. Don't know if its a kit kat thing or not but I'm having several other annoyances since KK installed.

What do you mean by "Google Now no longer reads your email"? I didn't know it had that option.

It didnt recognize my gmail account in order to function.

Issue corrected itself or maybe the feedback I sent to Google got through...
I opened Chrome browser a while later after posting here and it requested me to sign in. Once I did that I opened Google now and it verified my gmail address and works fine now
