Don't be afraid to try both. Simply nandroid and jump to something new. You can always return to your favorite as long as you backup beforehand.

I am gonna try beans, But step one says make sure you have Kexec recovery installed. What is that exactly?

Thanks!

I messed with Synergy for a while. It's ok. Not super amazing IMHO and could use some cleaning up (vibrates whole off and charging, can lose 4G reconnection after toggling between that and 3G). I imagine it will be awesome soon, but at the moment it's just ok.

I'm considering trying Bean's but the thread seems to have as many complaints (if not more) than the Synergy thread.

I'm assuming this - [Recovery][Kexec] Recovery with Kexec support - How to repack boot/recovery images - xda-developers

Is this recovery necessary if we already have cwm installed? Is this for flashing kernels and a way to bypass the locked bootloader? Can we just wipe data/cache then install the file in cmw via the recovery or does these roms require tweaks to the kernel?
