Hey all, so Im toying again with the idea of rooting/roming after getting the OTA Jelly Bean update with all of its glitches. I would definitely wanna do the CM10 ROM, but had a few unanswered Qs before I would want to try it.

Since I took the OTA Verizon update, do I need to wait for a new version of CM to be released or can I just flash the ones out now?
Has anyone heard if they ever resolved the bluetooth issues that were on CM10 Stable? To me this is a dealbreaker as I use bluetooth a bunch in my car.
Whats the best video/site to see step by step how to unlock bootloader, root and rom? Also where to get the latest CM10? When I google so many sites come up and I wanna make sure I get the most recent version and info.

Thanks!

Rooting JB uses a 'different' process, but people say it's very simple. I carried root from ICS so I can't really comment on it from personal experience. To unlock your bootloader is ridiculously simple with the EZ-Unlock app. Just install, and tap Unlock.

Flashing a ROM depends on which recovery you install. I prefer CWM simply because it's what I've always used and I'm very familiar with it.

Lastly, I never had issues with BT and CM10. Just give it a go and if it doesn't work out simply restore your backup (make a backup with your custom recovery!). You can flash CM10 directly over JB, it's the same 4.1.1. based build. You could do CM10.1 which is 4.1.2. based, but is currently very buggy.
