Any way to root verizon GS3 on a mac without using a SD card

Just got a galaxy S3 (SCH-I535 4.1.2 baseband I535VRBLMD3) through verizon and was wanting to know if there was a way to root/recovery/unlock bootloader without using an SD card on a mac? if not what is the easiest way to do this?

I don't have a Mac, so I haven't read through this http://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=198722
MAC Root Tool for S3 [Casual for Verizon S3] but I'd suspect that you can put whatever files it tells you to put on the SDCard on the internal storage instead.

All that said, if you're a novice, why in the heck are you messing with rooting, etc? You're just asking for trouble.
